PAKISTANI DEPLOYMENT

Pakistan has moved almost 20,000 additional soldiers to Line of Control to match Chinese deployments on the Line of Actual Control in the east.
The level of troops of Pakistan has deployed is more than what it did after the Balakot air strikes.

On 4 June last year Al-Badr group [JAMMU AND KASHMIR] took the responsibility for grenade attacks in Pulwama in JAMMU AND KASHMIR.

DEPLOYMENT

Infantry combat vehicles along with I 55mm howitzers have been deployed all along 1597 km long LAC in East Ladakh with two tank regiments deployed in Chushul sector to repel any hostile plans of the adversary through the Spanggur Gap.

SPECIAL FORCES UNITS

Indian Armed Para special forces units have been moved from different locations in the nation to the Ladakh where they are already carrying out exercises.
India Military has more than 12 Special Forces regiments who train on different terrains and have developed specialisation in desert, mountains and jungle terrain. The Armed Special Forces units deployed in Jammu and Kashmir regularly practice war games in high altitude areas in and around Leh.
