Former judge of Supreme Court , D K Jain gets 1 year extension by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to serve as ethics officer and ombudsman.
D K Jain was initially appointed by the Supreme Court in February 2019 as BCCI’s first ever ombudsman. He was later on handed the role off an ethics officer. His term had ended on February 29 this year but his contract was renewed.

D. K. Jain is an Indian Retired Judge. He is former Judge of Supreme Court of India. He is also former and 26th Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court and a Judge of Delhi High Court. He was appointed as the Additional Judge of the Delhi High Court on 19 March 1991 and become a permanent Judge from 23 January 1992
