English professional footballer and Leicester City striker, Jamie Richard Vardy has capture the Premier Leagues Golden Boot football award 2020 after netting 23 goals across the 2019/20 season. Vardy defeated Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (22 goals), Southampton Daniel William John Ings (22 goals), and Manchester City forward Raheem Shaquille Sterling (20 goals) to scoop the prestigious individual award.
Vardy is the first Leicester City player to claim the Golden Boot award and is only the 2nd Englishman after Harry Edward Kane MBE to take the crown in the last two decade. Manchester City’s Brazilian keeper Ederson Santana de Moraes won the Golden Glove award after keeping his 16th clean sheet of the season against Norwich City to beat Burnley’s Nicholas David Pope to the award.
Vardy named as Premier League Player of the Season, FWA Footballer of the Year and PFA Team of the Yea in 2015–16. He also titled Premier League Player of the Month for several times (October 2015, November 2015, April 2019, October 2019). Recently Honoures with Premier League Golden Boot in 2019–20.
