3 megawatt solar power plant at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala in Kerala has been commissioned by the V. Admiral Anil Kumar Chawla. Indian Navy Largest Solar Power Plant has been set-up under the center Government initiative of ‘National Solar Mission’.

Indian Government initiative “National Solar Mission” target to achieve 100Giga Watt of solar power by 2022.

The 3 MW Solar Power Plant established at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala is the largest in the Indian Navy and has an estimated life of 25 years. Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation has carry out the this project. Solar Power Plant will also support Naval Military academy in Kerala in decreasing the carbon foot print.
