According to the news, the Official China Daily said that China will build six to eight Nuclear Reactors per year between 2020 and 2025 And raise total capacity to 70 gigawatts (GW), up 43.5% compared to the end of May. By 2035, China Nuclear Energy Association has set a target to achieve about 200 gigawatts (GW) nuclear power capacities either in operation or under construction.

According to the China Nuclear Energy Association, the country’s total installed nuclear capacity is expected to set at 52 GW by the end of 2020, and the target will be 58 GW.

In April, the nuclear industry would not be affected by the COVID-19 outbreak, but no new nuclear reactors have been given the go-ahead this year said by Government officials. Six Nuclear Reactors were approved in 2019.
