EVEN THOUGH BLA CLAIMS THE ATTACK, PAKISTAN STILL BLAMES INDIA

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said India had activated sleeper cells to create unrest in Pakist-i.
Speaking to journalists here, the FM said he had already warned after the North Waziristan terrorist attack that India could activate its sleeper cells in Pakistan.”All clues are leading to India.We will not let them succeed in their designs,” he said.

INDIA REJECTS THE ACCUSATIONS

Lashing out at Pakistan, the Ministry of External Affairs said,”India rejects the absurd comments of the Foreign Minister of Pakistan on the terrorist attack in Karachi. Pakistan cannot switch the blame on India for its domestic problems. Unlike Pakistan, India has no delay in condemning terrorism anywhere in the world, including in Karachi.”
The Ministry of External Affairs added,”Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi may wish to reflect on this, as also his own Government’s position, including his Prime Minister Imran Khan description of the global terrorist as a ‘martyr”‘

POINT TO NOTE

Pakistan has long accused India of backing (Baloch Liberation Army) Baloch separatists and militants — an allegation India has always denied. It also alleges an Afghanistan hand in the movement.

This is 2nd time in Karachi, Pakistan business capital and its largest city where the nation biggest port is located. It is also the capital of the Sindh province in southern Pakistan.
The previous terrorist attack by BLA in Karachi, Pakistan was in November 2018, when the Baloch Liberation Army claimed a strike on the Chinese consulate in the city, killing 4 people 2 visa applicants and 2 policemen. The 3 attackers were killed by security forces.
