Feroze Gandhi (born Feroze Jehangir Ghandy; 12 September 1912 – 8 September 1960) was an Indian politician and journalist. He published the newspapers The National Herald and The Navjivan. He served as a member of the provincial parliament between 1950 and 1952, and later a member of the Lok Sabha.

Amala Akkineni (née Mukherjee) is an Indian film actress, Bharata Natyam dancer, and an animal welfare activist. She acted in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Bollywood films. She has won two Filmfare Awards South One for Malayalam ( Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Malayalam – Ulladakkam – 1991) and One for Telugu.

Lijo Jose Pellissery is an Indian film maker and actor who works in Malayalam film industry. He is a recipient of the Best Director Award at the 48th Kerala State Film Awards for Ee.Ma.Yau. He is a recipient of Silver Peacock for the best director at the 49th International Film Festival of India.
