On 17 July countries celebrate World Day for International Justice yearly. International Justice Day is observed to recognise the strengthening system of international justice and also to promote the rights of the sufferer. On 17 July annualy to mark the importance of the International Criminal Court and for the people to pay attention to serious crimes happening around the globally.

17 July is the Day of ICJ. It marks the anniversary of the adoption of the Rome Statute on July 17, 1998, the founding treaty of the International Criminal Court, which seeks to protect people from crimes against humanity and the crime of aggression, crime against women.
